Tri Seminar this Sunday!

This weekend is the all-encompassing, all important Forca Kai Tri Seminar. We will be going over everything from race week prep to transition set up to race day nutrition, so this is one you wont want to miss! Tell all of your interested friends that they are invited as well, cost is $79. The seminar will be from 8-11 under the gazebo at De Anza Cove. You will need to bring all of your race day gear in order to practice. This includes:

Bike

Helmet

Bike Shoes

Running Shoes

Sunglasses

Race belt (if you have one)

Small Hand Towel or Golf Towel (beach towels are too big but you can fold them)

Anything else you plan to have with you on race day.

You dont need to bring your wetsuit or swim gear, but we will be addressing T1, so dont worry.

Bring note taking materials, as there will be a TON of information squeezed into these 3 hours.

For those not attending the seminar, the regular sunday morning workout will start and end at the same location.  Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

Rock N Roll - this sunday

You all ready to rock n roll this sunday?

If you need us to have fuel at a certain point of the race please plan to meet the coaches at 4pm at Ted's house in Mission Beach.  Here is the address:  2756 Mission Blvd, San Diego, CA 92109

If you need to get taped, plan on being there!!!

Here is where the coaches will be on the course -
Mile 4 (half marathon) Mile 9 (Marathon) - Bekka & Ayo
Mile  7 of the marathon (harbor drive)- Mike Brown - he'll probably be riding his bike over to later miles too :)
Somewhere between mile 8 of half marathon & mile 13 of marathon (friars rd) - Nuno - will be riding bike over towards the finish - shirtless of course...
Mile 20 - Ted & others...

If you have family members that are going to come out and support you, have them join forces with us out on the course so we can represent!!!  RUN BITCHES....

Sunday night we will be gathering for an au revoir, great job season dinner - plan to be there at 6pm with your medal from the race.

Race morning - we will meet at the corner of 6th & Laurel at 5:30am for a group warmup & stretch - its going to be crazy busy so plan enough time to get there - either get dropped off, walk, take a taxi...plan for success.  Race starts at 6:15am

Do you have your 3 positive affirmations?  Everything dialed in and you ready to PR?  Whether you did all the training, only did some of it, or didn't do any of it - it doesn't matter at this point - you are all capable of running 26.2 miles - this could be one of the greatest challenges you will ever do and one you will be most proud to talk about.

Enjoy yourselves out there, be thankful for your health and your loved one - its been a great training season, now its time to go out there and CRUSH IT!!!!

Monday Night Football

I saved the best for last....

We are launching an opportunity for you all to come and workout with us another day of the week :)

Starting May 3rd we will offer an interval based coached session on Monday Nights...Ah yeah, that's right, just when you thought it couldn't get any better...

The monday sessions are not to replace your wednesday night sessions, they are an opportunity for those training to get the 3 CFE workouts (2 intervals & 1 tempo/time trial)  done with us coaches.  It will be an officially coached CFE session - it will be at 6:15pm and the locations will vary - check the website for details, we will be sending out info on it over the weekend.
